Health and safety training makes good business sense.
Your employees are your most valuable assets—by investing in their health and safety, you protect the health of your entire company.  Safety training can help your employees learn how to respond to emergencies, as well as how to avoid them altogether. You may reduce costs associated with injuries and illnesses on the job, but more importantly, you’ll help save lives!

Adult CPR/AED
For individuals who need adult CPR training only, this hands-on skills training prepares students to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults. This CPR course also includes training in using an automated external defibrillator (AED) on a victim of sudden cardiac arrest. Certifications: Adult CPR.AED-valid 1 year. Length: 5 hours

Infant and Child CPR
Designed for childcare providers, teachers, parents and others who care for children, this course teaches participants how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies in infants and children up to 8 years of age. Participants take home a booklet and refresher skills card as well as information about preventing injuries. Certifications:-valid 1 year. Length: 5½ hours.

First Aid Basics
This course teaches participants to perform first aid for cuts, scrapes, bruises, burns, bleeding, sprains and strains; treat sudden illnesses, including poisonings and heat and cold emergencies; minimize the effects of shock; recognize emergencies and take action. Useful textbook and refresher skill card helps students retain skills and serves as a reference tool in an emergency. Meets OSHA, First Aid Guidelines. Certifications: valid 3 year Length: 4 hours

Bloodborne Pathogens Training:
Preventing Disease Transmission
A two-hour training module for individuals who, while on the job, may be exposed to blood or other body fluids that could cause infection. Includes participant’s manual. Certifications: valid 1 year. Length: 2 hours

First Aid & Preparedness PRESENTATION
A program that varies from 30 minutes to 1 hours AND provides a 31-page, full-color booklet that that is tailored to businesses that want a short, informational session on key information from preparing for emergencies and disasters, to caring for common first aid emergencies such as , choking, steps on CPR/AED, cuts and bleeding, poisoning and more!  REMEMBER: This course is not a substitute for actual certification in American Red Cross first aid, CPR or AED courses.

Standard First Aid/AED
Learn the skills needed to prevent, recognize and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses until advanced medical personnel arrive. This course covers first aid and adult CPR in an approach that complements adult learning styles, featuring hands-on practice and real-life scenarios. Useful take-home course materials help you retain skills and serve as reference tools in an emergency which includes training in using an automated external defibrillator (AED) on a victim of sudden cardiac arrest. Meets OSHA First Aid and ECC Guidelines. Certifications: Adult CPR/AED-valid 1 year, First Aid-valid 3 years Length: 5½ hours

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
American Red Cross professional rescuer courses are designed for people with a job-related duty to respond in an emergency, including nurses, law enforcement and EMS personnel, fire fighters, business and industry response teams, lifeguards, flight attendants, and others who must take action in emergency situations. Hands-on skills training to cover the following areas:

• Recognizing and responding to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants
• Two-rescuer CPR
• Use of body substance isolation precautions to prevent disease transmission
• Use of resuscitation and bag-valve masks
• Use of an AED for a victim of sudden cardiac arrest Certifications: -valid 1 year. Length: 7½ hours

Pet First Aid
Pet First Aid is a 2-hour, newly-developed course that teaches pet owners how to care for their sick and injured pets.  Emphasis is placed on how to recognize symptoms of illness, how to prevent injuries, and when to seek advanced medical care.

Babysitter’s Training
If you’re 11 to 15 years old, you can get the knowledge, skills and confidence to care for infants and school-age children. Combining video, activities, hands-on skills training and discussion for a complete learning experience, Babysitter’s Training shows you how to:

• Respond to emergencies and illnesses with first aid, rescue breathing and other appropriate care
• Make decisions under pressure
• Communicate with parents to learn household rules
• Recognize safety and hygiene issues
• Manage young children
• Feed, diaper and care for infants

Length: 6 ½ to 8 hours; Includes an easy-to-use handbook & first aid kit.
